What is Hub Ventures?

Hub Ventures is a 12-week evening program starting in March 2011 that provides funding and resources to a community of 16 entrepreneurs building solutions for a better world. Based in the Bay Area, participants develop their early stage for-profit ventures in conjunction with their peers and utilize all the resources at Hub SoMa and Hub Berkeley. They also receive focused workshops and mentorship on topics such as Designing for Impact, Partnership Development, Thinking Like an Investor, and more. Upon completion of the program, 3-4 participants will receive $75,000 in seed funding through Hub Village Capital - a peer selection process that puts the investment decisions in the hand of the cohort. Participants also get access to the Bay Area’s premier impact investment community created by SOCAP.
